Padang Karunia Group was established in 2002 and started exploring coal resources in Indonesia, particularly in Kalimantan where there are large reserves of excellent quality coal. Considering the enormous coal reserves, we chose to develop a coal mine and coal infrastructures (coal hauling road and port) in Rantau – South Kalimantan.

With the capacity of coal infrastructures volume up to 15 million tons per year, Padang Karunia Group facilitates the exploitation of 85 million tons coal mineable reserves out of 275 million tons coal resources. Padang Karunia Group is expecting to become one of the reliable source and preferred partner that can be trusted by the coal user industries worldwide considering human resources capability, as well as technology.
