In early steps towards having his own business after retirement, T.P. Rachmat established PT Triputra Investindo Arya in 1998 as a holding company. Starting with his family businesses, Adira Mobil and Adira Finance, that were owned by his late father, he then took control and consolidated the companies.
Under his leadership, Adira Finance has embarked on an aggressive growth to become one of the prominent leasing companies in Indonesia.
In the year 2004 due to the future development and diversification plan of Triputra Group, Adira Finance was sold to Danamon. Triputra then started to expand through acquisitions in more promising businesses i.e. natural resources and agribusiness.
Up to now, Triputra Group operate it's businesses through 12 business units, dealing in :
1. Honda Motorcycle dealership for West Java and North Sulawesi area.
2. Honda Motorcycle retailers all around Indonesia.
3. Distributors of automotive parts.
4. Manufacturing of automotive wheel rims.
5. Manufacturing and trading of automotive components & parts and various metal & plastic products.
6. Production and distribution of various adhesives, paints and other chemical products.
7. Production and distribution of branded apparel and exporter of military & hospital uniforms.
8. Car rental services.
9. Third Party Logistics services.
10. Banks and other financial services.
11. Coal mining.
12. Agribusinesses (palm oil & rubber).
